Today we are talking about the Panoramic Restaurant Heaven 3000 reopening, our alpine hut located right at the top of the slopes, at “Cima Bianca” peak.
On 7 July, together with the Via Funivia lifts, the Martinelli family will also open the doors of the Heaven, ready to inaugurate the new summer season with you!
Coming to visit us will be very easy: you can reach Bormio 2000 by car or by cable car, arriving at your destination with the Whitelady3000 cable car.
Once at the top you will immediately enjoy a breathtaking view, and you’ll feel like you can touch the sky with your finger.
Are you couples or families looking for a bit of fresh air? Do you feel yourselves the most aggressive sportsmens ready for the new hiking season?
A stop at the Heaven will surely good for you: take a seat and delight your palate with steaming pasta dishes or choose something more “light” for your day of extreme sports.
Inside our restaurant you will be immediately welcomed by courtesy and punctuality of the staff, carefully selected and trained in order to guarantee you an absolutely pleasant break.
Our new seasonal menu will satisfy all your tastes:
From our renowned “palo della cuccagna” – consisting of a selection of cold cuts, local cheeses and pickles – to Tzigoiner – grilled thin slices of beef and bacon rolled around a thick wooden stick.
Among our proposals will not miss the traditional pizzoccheri – local buckwheat pasta with potatoes, cabbages, “Casera” cheese, hot butter and sage sauce – and the famous sciatt – fried buckwheat coated casera cheese dumplings on a bed of chichory.
Besides, we will propose lots of accompaniments to polenta: stew, Alpine cheeses, fried eggs, stewed porcini mushrooms or sausages.
Come and savor the traditional bresaola carpaccio or the grilled sausage “alla bormina“; accompany your meal with selected Valtellina wines and finish it with delicious homemade desserts such as strudel with Valtellina apples, walnut and caramel pie or wild blueberry pie.
In addition to this rich selection of local flavors, the Heaven hut boasts a unique and irreplaceable location: surrounded by large windows, you will have the impression of being embraced by the entire Alpine arc, the ridge of Mount Vallecetta on one side and the Valfurva on the other will be the background to your relaxing “pit stop”.
